Visible Mending

Here are some woven tartan style visible mending with two or more colours. And below is plain woven visible mending in one colour.

Stripes, checks, tartan or block colours can be create with this repair method. All in you own personalised colour choices.

This sample is of Swiss darning original stitch repairs, recreating the pattern of a stockingette garment. You can be creative with the design and shaping easily with this one or keep to a square shape depending on your preference.

One hole - 1-3cm = £15, 4-6cm = £20, 7-9cm = £25

Two holes - 1-3cm = £25, 4-6cm = £25, 7-9cm = £45

Three holes - 1-3xm = £35, 4-6cm = £45, 7-9cm = £55

Patches

These samples are crochet repair patches, designed with different textures and colour combinations.

You can chose plain coloured shapes, keeping the design more minimal but stand out with texture. Or you can chose multicoloured stripes and or a mix of textures in any desired stitch combinations.

Each patch can be either sewn on discreetly or using a contast colour with a blanket stitch along the edge to add some contrast.

Above is some knitted repair patches. These can be striped in colour or texture, and have lace holes in intricate patterns or just plain stockingette stitches.

Like the crochet patches these are quicker to make than the woven and Swiss darned repairs, but can be just as beautiful with added attention to detail. Play with shape if you wish, or keep simple squares and switch up the block colours to create a pretty design pattern over any hole.
